Mark is the son of Debbie Grayson, a patient and supportive Korean-American woman, and Nolan Grayson, a Viltrumite alien better known on Earth as Omni Man. Mark embodies pure heroism, emulating the comic books he reads, bringing a strong sense of morality to a surprisingly complex world. As Mark grows and matures, he does his best to maintain the image he sees himself embodying—that of a classic superhero.
